"Travelling definitely inspires me the most, as I try to adapt my style to the different cultures of each city. Moreover, I dress to complement the activities I do as it is about function over fashion every time."
So for a Sunday spent taking in some culture at the National Museum of Singapore, Isabel Tan keeps it simple; styling a mini, button-fronted Gap denim skirt with a dainty black essentials top. "It is my definition of perfect mixture between girly and edgy."
When the temperature rises in summer, Isabel Tan has a go-to look: her 1969 Best Girlfriend shorts and a basic tee. "I spent a couple of days at the countryside this summer living in denim and lightweight tees."
As well as being a quick and easy look, she loves how "a simple pair of distressed denim shorts can add an edge to the entire outfit, when I go to pick flowers in the garden or take the dogs out to play."
"I’m all about being constantly on the move", says Isabel Tan, a Singapore-based Travel and Fashion Creative. "Wearing something that feels good on my skin and allows me to travel from place to place is very important to me."
Currently on an adventure in Sydney, Australia, she finds her Gap Cami Romper to be a one-piece wardrobe essential. And she pairs it simply with some white sneakers and a straw hat, because "picking the right shoes and accessories can make a whole lot of difference to your outfit".
Comfort is everything to Isabel: "I don't ever compromise comfort when it comes to style. This Cami Romper took me from a hike, to a picnic with friends! It is definitely a perfect example of fashion and function."
Singapore-based musician Sandra Riley Tang loves her versatile Gap shirtdress. "I can wear it as a simple dress, or get creative by layering a skirt over it. It’s a piece for all occasions."
As a band member of The Sam Willows, Sandra travels often and always plans ahead of time. "I am a visual person so I like to see everything mapped out. If I am traveling to a country that does not converse in English, I always learn a few phrases in advance."
Singapore-native Sandra Riley Tang is a band member of The Sam Willows and also a co-founder of a yoga studio. She spends a zen afternoon at the studio in her Gap resolution true skinny high-rise jeans. She loves that the denim have just enough stretch to be comfortable yet stylish.

"I continue to craft it and the outfit becomes very me in the end."
